Discovering the Undiscovered was a prompt given to me to create an undiscovered character from space or land, made by combining basic shapes like circles, squares, and triangles. My initial idea was to create a mashup between a cactus and a space creature, but then I realized the name of the cactus was "prickly pear" which is the combination of an adjective and an object (fruit) and I decided that a prickly pear would be a clever solution for this challenge. The pear is made up of round and soft edges, and to make it "prickly" I used many triangles in different sizes and angles. The entire design is a contrast between sharp and round edges, and I believe it was very successful.
